Global Journeys Seen through FLIGHT.
A collaborative professional practice work in
response to the theme Global Journeys is here presented through the research
and realization of three individual pieces that research flight as a natural phenomenon,
a forced action or the need to find escape routes.
Sonja Coles and Rachel Brown and I produced a
unique artwork that reflects our artistic and ethical approach to the subject.
The three pieces blend into each other demonstrating how wire, papier-machè,
digital photography and sewing can come together in an illustrative narrative.
A Gust of Hope was made and Installed for a day at Cava Usai, Villasimius, Sardinia, Italy.
A place of great inspiration has instilled creativity and insight once again.
