Sustainable Design Class Furniture
In May 2018 the children in the Think Tank ideated new visions for the class environment. They thought of redesigning it. They shared ideas, sketched possible pieces of furniture and made maquettes. The older children measured the ideal height of chairs and tables that could accommodate children from nursery to year 2. They chose items from the ones available at school such as boxes, tins and packaging material.
With the start of the new school year they found a new environment....the one they had DESIGNED!
Surprised and elated the 3rd teacher was ready to inspire their upcoming adventures.
